The 2011 NFL schedule has been released by NFL but it is yet tentative as the NFL and its locked-out players mired in negotiations over a new labor agreement and issues between league owners and players.

The official full 2011 NFL schedule, with playing dates and times, was released and announced Tuesday night April 20, 2011 7PM ET.

The Super Bowl 2011 champion Green Bay Packers will kick off the regular-season schedule in Week 1 at home, at Lambeau Field, on Thursday, September 8, 2011 against the New Orleans Saints.

Adrian Gonzalez to stay with Boston Red Sox for $154 Million

BOSTON – Slugger Adrian Gonzalez has agreed a seven-year, $154 million deal to remain with the Boston Red Sox, the Major League Baseball website said on Friday.

The Red Sox traded with the San Diego Padres for first baseman Gonzalez in the off-season with the intention of signing the left-handed hitter to a long-term contract.
